DeMuerte is an independent menswear and androgynous garment label based in Hartford. The line was co-founded by Joshua J. Jenkins, and Breakfast Lunch & Dinner has been an equity partner since 2017.

DeMuerte uses small-scale production for their designs, including an in-house production team in Hartford. They function as an online shop, but they keep it local as well. They’ve done pop-ups for product drops in their Hartford home base. In the summer of 2020, DeMuerte started selling reusable face masks. 100% of the proceeds went to Kamora’s Cultural Corner, a Black Queer and Afrocentric community space in Hartford.

Taking a step beyond the standard lookbook, the line creates videos and immersive experiences for their new designs. You can check out DeMuerte’s collections here.
