About Breakfast Lunch & Dinner 

Breakfast Lunch & Dinner (BL&D) is a community venture building studio. BL&D manages and is a part of several community projects and ventures, including Cafeteria Radio. Cafeteria Radio is a cooperative digital media and entertainment company owned and operated by creative entrepreneurs in the Greater Hartford Region. 

Media Storyteller

BL&D is seeking someone who can authentically build and interact with the community and relationships we’ve been building since 2014 by helping to tell both BL&D’s as well as our client’s and communities’ stories through multiple media. We expect this person to be able to create content that brings to life our work and that of the community Cafeteria seeks to cover ideally through various forms of media such as writing, photography, video, podcasting, and more. The ideal candidate will not only be able to tell the story but support our team in making sure these stories are read, seen, watched, and heard by integrating and supporting various means to distribute the stories and reach and engage relevant audiences.

The Role

• Working with our team to effectively find ways to communicate BL&D’s work to relevant audiences through various media.

• Capable of multi-media documentation such as writing, filming, podcast, photography, and more. 

• Lead Cafeteria Media’s content development to cover the culture of the urban hubs throughout Connecticut.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual (Spanish and English)

• Comfortable with Adobe Creative Suite

• Photography

• Videography

• Podcasting

• Vlogging

• Being a spokesperson

• Strong writing and editing skills

Pay

Compensation range is $17.50-$22.00/hour. We are seeking 20 hours a week up to full-time.
